The Monster Squad official enamel pins

🇪🇦 The Monster Squad, estrenada en 1987 y dirigida por Fred Dekker, es una de esas películas que si ves en tu infancia, se queda contigo para siempre.

Para Fright-Rags tuvimos la oportunidad de trasladar este universo al formato de pines esmaltados, creando las ilustraciones para su colección oficial de The Monster Squad. El reto estaba en adaptar personajes tan reconocibles a un formato pequeño, manteniendo su personalidad y haciendo que cada detalle funcionase como parte de un objeto pensado para coleccionistas. Nos interesaba especialmente conservar ese equilibrio entre terror y diversión que define la película, combinando los iconos del cine de monstruos con un lenguaje gráfico propio.

Este proyecto forma parte de nuestro trabajo de ilustración para cine, entretenimiento y merchandising, desarrollando artwork para productos relacionados con películas, música y cultura popular. Un placer trabajar junto a Fright-Rags en un proyecto que recupera una película que sigue formando parte del imaginario de los amantes del cine de terror.

For Fright-Rags, we had the opportunity to bring this universe to life in the form of collectible pins, creating the illustrations for their official Monster Squad collection. The challenge was adapting such recognizable characters to a small format, maintaining their personality and ensuring that every detail functioned as part of an object designed for collectors. We were particularly interested in preserving that balance between terror and fun that defines the film, combining monster movie icons with our own unique graphic style.

This project is part of our illustration work for film, entertainment, and merchandising, developing artwork for products related to movies, music, and popular culture. It was a pleasure working with Fright-Rags on a project that revives a film that continues to be part of the collective imagination of horror movie fans.
