Ninja Turtles - Out of the Shadow official promo design

🇪🇦 En 2016 nuestra ilustración para Tortugas Ninja: Fuera de las Sombras fue seleccionada como ganadora en un concurso internacional organizado por Talenthouse y Paramount Pictures. El reto consistía en reinterpretar artísticamente a las Tortugas en una propuesta que pudiera imprimirse como una tapa de alcantarilla real y colocarse en las calles de Nueva York. La película, dirigida por Dave Green, fue producida por Michael Bay y distribuida por Paramount. En su reparto destacaban Megan Fox, Stephen Amell y Will Arnett. Esta fue la primera vez que recibimos un premio por una ilustración, y marcó un antes y un después en nuestro camino como estudio. El mayor reto fue condensar el espíritu urbano de las Tortugas en una composición circular, con texturas metálicas, referencias callejeras y un enfoque gráfico claro. Trabajamos en Illustrator y Photoshop, cuidando la simetría y limitando la paleta para reforzar el impacto visual. Este proyecto reforzó nuestro interés por trabajar con marcas vinculadas al cine, la animación y la cultura pop. Desde entonces hemos sido premiados con ilustraciones para la promoción del 40 aniversario de Gremlins o para Spiderman: Far From Home. 🇬🇧 Back in 2016, our artwork for Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows was selected as a winning piece in a global art contest hosted by Talenthouse and Paramount Pictures. The challenge was to design a manhole cover inspired by the film, which would be physically produced and installed on the streets of New York. Directed by Dave Green and produced by Michael Bay, the movie starred Megan Fox, Stephen Amell and Will Arnett. This was our first awarded illustration, and it marked a key moment in the early years of Salmorejo Studio. The creative challenge was translating the gritty, playful energy of the Turtles into a bold, symmetrical circular design with metallic textures and graphic strength. We worked with Illustrator and Photoshop, focusing on clarity and street-level authenticity. This project ignited our love for working with film and entertainment brands, and since then we've been selected in other international projects like the official 40th anniversary promo for Gremlins and a piece for Spiderman: Far From Home.
